PROJECTIONS DESIGNER - Miko Simmons is an international, award-winning multimedia artist and projection designer who has been innovating in the convergence of film/animation and theatrical production for more than 20 years.

Theater productions include: Fannie Lou Hamer (Seattle Children’s Theater); The Boy Who Kissed the Sky and The Watsons Go to Birmingham 1963 (Guthrie Theater); Valor, Fast Company, Macondo, Caviar on Credit, Postcards from Earth, Confluence, and Bring Love to My Doorstep (Penumbra Theatre); Sugar in Our Wounds and Ashe Lab (The Minnesota History Theatre); Gloria and Dirty Business (New Dawn Theatre); Crowns (Old Log Theatre); Ghost and Jack & the Beanstalk (Park Square Theater); Snow Queen (Mixed Blood Theater); House of the Spirits (Minnesota Opera); Art is a Verb and Salome (MotherKing Opera).

Additional productions include work with TU Dance; Threads Dance; Uncertain Realties; Earth, Wind, and Fire; MLK Sculpture Inauguration Ceremony on National Mall in Washington, DC; Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (MN Ordway Theater). And in Korea: Count of Monte Cristo, Wizard of Oz, Elisabeth, and Rudolf.
