Joel Diggs was born in Monrovia, Liberia, grew up in Reston, VA., and currently resides in Atlanta, Ga. Joel lived in Nashville from 2006 until just recently relocating to Ga. He credits Nashville as the place where his acting career truly flourished. Joel started his very first theatre production directed by Shawn Whitsell at The Darkhorse Theatre. He has since been featured in many various plays, tv, and film productions, including Jitney with Kennie Playhouse Theatre, NCT, and most memorably in the Nashville Rep's. production of Topdog/Underdog, alongside Eddie George, directed by Jon Royal.
